My fellow Parishioners:

To All Parishioner,

Fall as arrived bringing crisp cool weather and trees turning beautiful colors this is just one of God wonderful creations.

A letter from Fr. Regis

It’s hard to believe that I am in my sixth year serving our beloved mission! I have seen wonderful people dedicated to our mission coming and going. Nevertheless our wonderful core parishioners continue to serve diligently and faithfully in order to continue the work of our Lord in our area. You know who you are, I don’t have to say the names but without your love and support Holy Apostles mission would be no more. In the very near future you will be receiving a survey… We would like to find out  firstly why some of our beloved Orthodox Christians do not participate in the life of the Church. Secondly for those of you who do participate, how can we better serve you and enhance your spiritual life and growth. Please take a moment to read the survey and answer the questions honestly and candidly. On November 15 we will begin the preparation for the celebration of the nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  The time period, once again gives us the opportunity for self examination and fasting both physically and spiritually.  Let us take this 40 day season in preparation for this joyous celebration of our Saviors Nativity as an opportunity to develop a life of increased personal prayer and communal worship. This is also a time when we give up some physical sustenance to concentrate more on our spiritual sustenance!  In our secular society Christmas has been characterized as the season for giving… Also reminding us in our spiritual growth to consider the needs of those less fortunate and become more philanthropic not only during this blessed season but throughout our lives. Looking forward to seeing you more often during the sacred services… This year as last year we will celebrate the Nativity of our Lord with a Christmas Eve service at 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 24.

May our Lord continue to bless and strengthen our beloved mission with much growth and spiritual vitality!

If you come late for church services, remember you are not to enter into the church during the Gospel Reading, Creed, Consecration or the Lord’s Prayer. This is out of respect.

Please always be ready and prepared before you come forward for communion. The Lord loves those who accept HIM with a pure heart.

If you are planning on bringing something to share for Coffee after the Services please remember we need to SHARE with everyone.
